I've been thinking...

I've been thinking about starting this blog for oh, about 2 months now.  I finally broke down and did it last month.  Just in time for Down Syndrome Awareness Month!  You see, I've had sooooo many emotions over the last 2 months with my little baby who has down syndrome.  It's crazy!  And I wanted to have an outlet to express my feelings about it, talk about my special boy, and create an awareness.  I hope I can stick with this blog and continue to document life with a down syndrome child.

Here's to my Lucas James, who will forever be the light of my life.  I knew I picked his name for a reason, I just didn't know why until he was born.  And to Down Syndrome Awareness... I'm not as scared anymore.
